When the bell rings at the beginning of the hour, you should already be in your seat, and all talking is to stop. Mr. Clanahan will take roll, and then he will usually give you permission to visit for a minute. WHEN MR. CLANAHAN STARTS TO TALK, YOU MUST STOP TALKING AND GIVE YOUR UNDIVIDED ATTENTION TO HIM. After homework assignments have been graded, there will always be time for you to have your questions answered. Except for the beginning of the hour when you must remain seated because roll is being taken, you may go sharpen your pencil whenever it needs it, without having to get permission. During the part of class when you are working on the assignment for the next day, if you have a question for Mr. Clanahan, just go to him with the question. You do not need to raise your hand and wait for him to call on you.
