GRADE REPORTS

From time to time, Mr. Clanahan will give you a computer print-out of your grades to take home to your parents. We are using a new gradebook computer program this year, so specific information about these grade reports is not available at this time. The approximate formula for calculating your grade will be this:

(Test Average) x .80 + (Assignment & Quiz Average) x .15 + (Notebook Grade) x .05

This means that 85% of your grade comes from test, 10% comes from homework and quizzes, and 5% comes from your notebook.. Remember, assignments marked “Credit” are considered "Exempt" and are not used in calculating your average.
