MAKE UP WORK, DEADLINES, & "CREDIT"

Except for the last week in each quarter, the deadline for turning in make up work is THE END OF THE FOLLOWING WEEK AFTER THE ASSIGNMENT WAS ORIGINALLY GRADED IN CLASS. In other words, anything we graded last week has to be made up by the end of this week. Anything we grade this week has to be made up by the end of next week. If you do not complete make up work by the deadline, you automatically receive a zero. Make-up tests are graded by Mr. Clanahan. Make-up homework assignments are checked over by Mr. Clanahan, but you do not get a numerical grade. Make up assignments are marked with either “Credit” or “0.” “Credit” means you did the work satisfactorily, “0” means you did not. Papers marked with “Credit” are not used in calculating your grade. The new computerized gradebook program considers those “credit” papers “EXEMPT” from being used to calculate your grade.
