WHAT TO DO IF YOU'RE ABSENT

Make an effort to be at class if at all possible. Students who miss a lot of school do not do well in this class. If you are absent, here’s what you should do. Try to have a friend you can call to get assignments, or get assignments online at http://www.pbjhs.com/clanahan

On the day you return to school, ask a fellow student for their class notes, and copy the notes that were taken while you were absent. Consult the Assignment Calendar on the bulletin board to make sure you have done the correct assignments. Put your make up work in the appropriate slot of the Make Up Work Box where Mr. Clanahan can find it. If you were absent on the day of a test, ask Mr. Clanahan at the beginning of the hour for the test you missed. You will not have time to finish a test if you ask for it later in the hour.
